New Video for Atmosphere!
June 10th, 2011 by DavidThe Perfect Vessels released their video for Atmosphere today, June 10, 2011. The video was made by Neel Scott, a film director and editor who lives in New York. It consists of footage from over a hundred hours of found 16mm film home movies as well as official 1960s Apollo mission film footage. Mr. Scott says of the video, “Atmosphere mirrors the same themes found in a lot of old home movies – warmth, optimism, and the importance of family and friends.” Atmosphere is the third video released from The Perfect Vessels’ new album, Name Our Own Stars, now out on Makeshift Music and available everywhere. Enjoy!
Review: Aiding & Abetting
April 1st, 2011 by Graham“Catchy pop with just enough groove to take the edge off. The songs have a nice kick, and often enough they made me smile. I like the way the melodies pop and crackle.”
Jersey Beat review of “Name Our Own Stars”
March 29th, 2011 by Graham“The crisp and lively vocals harmonies soar straight for the stratosphere with topmost joy and vigor. Moreover, there’s an extremely sweet and positive vibe which permeates this whole album like a welcome and refreshing ray of happy sunshine. A totally likable and enjoyable album. ”

americanaUK Review: The Perfect Vessels “Name Our Own Stars”
March 25th, 2011 by Graham“The slacker anthem stomp of “Turned Around” made this reviewer exclaim “Wowee Zowee!” to himself. There are also some archer moments of self-aware Sonic Youthery and, in this debut’s finer moments, Byrds-ish flights into the stratosphere. “Name Our Own Stars” is recommended.”
